Lochs and Rocks began as a tiny seed of an idea that has grown very quickly. I wanted to start my own clothing brand but for it to be as environmentally responsible and sustainable as possible with items that I wanted to wear myself. I took the plunge and left my full time job in order to dedicate more of my time to the business.<\/p>
I have always loved Scotland and being outdoors. I would spend my summer holidays here when I was growing up and eventually moved permanently to the Scottish countryside. I love being completely surrounded by nature. The scenery (and weather!!) changes constantly with each passing season. This was the inspiration behind starting Lochs and Rocks.<\/p>
Fast fashion is everywhere and I can honestly hold my hands up and say that I have used it myself. However, I started to feel guilty about the effects of it on the planet. I was also becoming increasingly disappointed in the quality of an item that may only last for a couple of wears.<\/p>
Lochs and Rocks is all about high quality clothing with a strong eco conscience and great designs that stand out. Small changes can make big differences. <\/p>
